REO partners with FiveNine Optics

REO, a volume manufacturer of high precision optical components and assemblies, has recently teamed up with a new local custom coating company, FiveNine Optics. As the name suggests, they specialize in IBS coatings with extremely low losses, high reflectivity and precision performance. FiveNine Optics was founded by industry leaders bringing many decades of optical coating experience. As a small, custom coating house, they can provide technical assistance and solutions for highly specialized and developmental projects. REO will provide our high quality superpolished substrates to FiveNine Optics to enable their custom quality optics. REO sees this new partnership as an opportunity to serve complimentary and developing markets while continuing to serve their core business.
