From the deep ultraviolet to the long wave infrared, REO can exceed your most demanding coating requirements thanks to our innovative designs and cost effective manufacturing techniques.  Unlike smaller coating houses, we harness a versatile and wide range of thin film deposition technologies, including:

• ion beam sputtering (IBS),
• ion assisted deposition (IAD) and
• traditional electron beam (E-beam) evaporative methods.

Added to these methods are our own proprietary tooling and deposition process monitoring, giving us the ability to achieve precise index and layer thickness control, and perform careful balancing of internal layer stress to manage part flatness and wavefront distortion.  We also have a unique and comprehensive set of metrology tools allowing us to perform precise measurement of virtually all performance and physical specifications at numerous wavelengths.
